Adding ranks

The phpBB3 ranks system allow members to have a special rank or a rank that increases per the number of posts they make on the forum, or default for forum groups.

We use these ranks here : phpBB3 star ranks

you can find more phpbb.com validated ranks here : ranks

You can make custom rank images more suitable to the theme of your forum if you know how,if not post in phpBB3 Support forum and request some made as i have a good friend Trroja who is very good at graphics or if or any one else on the forum has time we may make some

1st off you need to upload your rank imges to the root of your forum /images/ranks/*.*

Now goto admin control panel > users and groups > manage ranks > add new rank >

Setting up the new rank

Example
Add your new rank title : 5
select rank image : rank1.png
special rank : yes no ( if no is selected ,add how many post are required to achieve that rank for example 5 )
Minimum posts: 5

Continue creating new ranks upto how many ranks you have or want!

Adding a special rank to a group

Now goto admin control panel > users and groups > manage groups > manage the group to add a special rank : eg administrators >
